What is a healing
The word healing comes from the Old English word Haelan. The root Hal means “sound and healthy”. The root Hal is also found in the word whole which Webster’s describes as “sound, uninjured and auspicious”. The word healing refers to “making sound, well or healthy again”.

We refer to healing as the clearing of imprints in the luminous energy field (LEF) of a client. This restores health, prevents a possible disease or illness from manifesting in the physical body and can also lead to an increased sense of well being and happiness. The process of making whole adopts a holistic approach to health uniting mind, body, soul and spirit. Webster’s refers to the adjective holistic deriving from the noun holism which “views that an integrated whole has a reality independent and greater than the sum of its parts”.

There are many ways to create healing. Energy work which can include and HLB healing, cranio sacral work, chakra rebalancing , Reiki, acucupuncture, osteopathy, homeopathy, naturopathy and other healing modalities will heal the body. One can heal oneself through prayer, positive thoughts and raising one’s consciousness. Healing will also occur with traditional yoga postures that releases pain stored in the cell memory of muscles, faschia and connective tissues. Breathwork in yoga will also lead to healing by ensuring that the breath we draw in reaches all parts of the body and releases any energy blockages that may occur in the meridians and power centres of the body. Meditation connects you to who you really are and to your life purpose thereby playing a crucial role in healing and staying healthy. By lowering the frequency of your brain waves, your immune system is strengthened, you become relaxed and can connect to your inner widom.
Supporting your healing and lifelong health through exercise, nutrition and reducing your toxicity load is key to creating true health and wellness.

It is also helpful to differentiate between healing and curing. Curing refers to removing a symptom that is caused by an illness or a disease. Illness or disease may return if healing does not occur at the blueprint of your being. Healing  does not aim to fix a problem but rather to understand the pattern that led to a condition. or state of mind. Through acceptance and gratitude for what is we find the beauty in life.
"There is no antidepressant that will cure a depression that's spiritually based, for the malaise doesn't originate from brain dysfunction, but from an accurate response to the desecration of life" David R. Hawkins

"Profound and lasting healings are, ultimately, mystical experiences that cannot be generated by the power of the mind. They are spontaneous occurences of a highly Divine nature that originates within the soul. It is that source that also contains the capacity to heal illness." Carolyn Myss

"We often think of psychics as being gifted and rare because they can tap into the wisdom of the universe, but the gift is not rare. Everyone has it, and each of us can relearn - or - remember how to use it. It may take time, however, just as it was necessary for each of us to learn to crawl before we could walk or run."
